The region's honey-stone villages are always oozing with photographic potential, while spectacular gardens and arboretums offer seasonal highlights. Whether you're looking for a half-day dusk tutorial on autumn woodland photography or a full-day Cotswold tour covering photography essentials like light, composition, sharpness and depth of field, these workshops are suitable for all levels of experience.

"It was a great day, William was both extremely knowledgeable and considerate to my limited experience. Within a short time he had mastered most of the features on my camera and explained them to me in a way which made them easy to understand. William's experience was invaluable in helping me come to grips with the relationship between light conditions and aperture settings and shutter speed. I can highly recommend a one-to-one day with William. Thanks for a great day out, worth every penny."

WHAT MAKES THESE PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS DIFFERENT?

"I've been addicted to photography and fascinated by composition and capturing light in the wild since I picked up a Canon A1 as a child. By joining one of my workshops, I hope to be able to share my enthusiasm and passion for picture-taking with you.

There are lots of wonderful photographers out there offering workshops and I really appreciate you taking the time to consider one of mine. I'm also aware that catching the photography bug is not without its considerable expense! If you're like me, you will spend a huge amount of time and thought before investing in a new camera or lens. Photography workshops are no different."

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

You will be on your feet for much of the day, so please bring good footwear. Layered clothing is best for changeable weather, while wellies and waterproofs are also a good idea. You don't need to bring any food or drink as these will be provided.

WHAT CAMERA GEAR DO I NEED?

A DSLR or mirrorless camera is ideal, along with a tripod and lens(es) covering wide-angle to mid-telephoto. A polariser, neutral density and graduated filter are useful, while handy accessories include a remote release, spare batteries, memory cards and cleaning cloth.
